Customizing Columns
Choose which columns to display on the shipment list, dashboard, stock overview, and packing details table.

Goal
Show the columns your work actually needs on the shipments list, dashboard, stock overview, and packing table — and hide the rest.
Before you start
- Any role can set their own columns. Preferences are per user, so your choices don’t affect teammates.
- Admin or Owner role is required to set organization-wide defaults.
Your column choices also drive the Excel export on the shipments list — the downloaded file has exactly the columns you can see, so they are worth getting right before a download. See Exporting Data.
How to Customize Columns
- Go to any view with a Columns button (Shipments, Dashboard, or the Packing Details table on a shipment page)
- Click ⚙ Columns in the top-right corner of the card
- Toggle checkboxes on or off — changes save automatically
The page reloads immediately to reflect your selection.
Reordering Columns
On the Shipments list, Dashboard, and Packing Details table you can drag column headers to reorder them:
- Hover over any column header — it becomes draggable
- Drag it left or right and drop it in the new position
- The order is saved automatically and persists across page loads
The column order is stored per user and per view, independently of visibility preferences.
New Column Notifications
When Trackberry adds a new column to a view, a red badge appears on the Columns button to let you know. The badge shows the number of new columns. Opening the picker clears the badge and marks the new columns as seen — new columns are labeled NEW in the list until you open it.
This makes it easy to spot new options without interrupting your workflow.

Inspection columns
When a shipment has a third-party inspection report attached, you can fold its per-pallet data into this table with Merge into packing details on the Inspection Report card. That adds four columns — Score, Recommendation, Defects, and Photos — at the end of the table.
These four behave a little differently from the rest:
- They’re an all-or-nothing block governed by the merge button, not by the Columns picker.
- They can still be dragged to reorder among themselves.
- Separate from packing details on the same card puts them back in their own full-width card.
See Quality Inspection Reports for what the data means.
Organization Defaults (Admins)
Admins can set default column visibility for the whole organization. These defaults apply to any team member who hasn’t set their own preferences.
- Go to Settings → Default Column Preferences
- Toggle columns on or off per view
- Changes save automatically
Individual members can always override org defaults by using the Columns button in any view.
Tips
- Column preferences are per user — each team member can have a different view
- Org defaults ensure new members start with the right columns without any setup
- The Organic column is hidden by default — enable it if you handle organic produce
- Unit Price and Line Total only appear when an invoice document has been attached to the shipment
