Goal
Know what Trackberry charges your organization, when it charges it, and what to do when the free month ends.
Billing lives in Settings → Billing. Only organization admins and owners can open it. For roles, see Managing Your Team. The published price list is at trackberry.com/pricing.
Your free first month
Every new organization gets one month free, starting the day the organization is created. You don’t need a card, and there is no limit on how many containers you track. Containers tracked during the free month are never charged, even after you subscribe.
A blue banner at the top of the app counts down the days left, with a Subscribe button.
After the first month
Each container costs €15, excluding VAT. You pay for containers that ship, not for seats: invite as many colleagues as you like.
To keep creating shipments after the free month, open Settings → Billing, click Subscribe, and add a card or a SEPA Direct Debit mandate. You’re invoiced monthly for the containers charged that month. If Trackberry runs an ERP integration for you, its maintenance fee is on the same invoice.
When a container is charged
A container is charged once, when Trackberry starts working on it:
- when you approve a shipment, or
- when a document from a trusted sender creates it by email, or
- when you import a bill of lading.
A shipment still waiting for your approval is not charged. Neither is a voyage that had already finished before it reached Trackberry. Several documents, events, notifications or people looking at the same container never add a second charge. If you merge two shipments for the same container, you pay for one.
If billing stops
When the free month ends without a subscription, or a payment fails, a red banner tells you what’s wrong and links to the billing page. Until it’s fixed:
- In the app, you can’t create, approve or start tracking new shipments. You’re sent to the billing page instead.
- By email, documents from trusted senders aren’t rejected. The shipments they create are held: not tracked, not charged and not announced to your team. Admins get an email about it.
As soon as a payment goes through, held shipments are released automatically and tracking starts.
Holds don’t wait forever. If a shipment has been held for 60 days, held shipments are archived and your Trackberry inbox address is switched off, so new emails bounce. Paying turns the address back on, but archived shipments stay archived.
Invoices and VAT
Paid invoices are listed under Settings → Billing → Invoices, and each one can be downloaded as a PDF.
Prices exclude VAT. Trackberry is operated by Rebase Capital SL in Spain, so:
| Where you are | VAT |
|---|---|
| Spain | 21% |
| Elsewhere in the EU, with a valid VAT number | Reverse charge, 0% |
| Elsewhere in the EU, without a VAT number | Your country’s rate |
| Outside the EU | None |
