Billed on containers that actually ship. Not on seats, not on documents read, not on a monthly subscription that charges the same in February as it does at the peak of your season. All prices exclude VAT.

Why per container

Produce is seasonal and software subscriptions are not. A flat monthly fee charges you the same in the six weeks your programme is running as in the three months it is not, which means the price is worst exactly when the season is worst.

Per-seat pricing has a second problem, and it is the one that actually costs money. It makes you ration access, and the people left out are the ones who would have caught the problem: whoever does the invoicing, whoever handles the claim, the colleague covering while you are away. A shipment that only one person can see is a shipment nobody checks on the day they are ill.

So the unit is the thing you already count and already price your own business around. If you know how many containers you brought in last season, you know what Trackberry would have cost you.

It also makes the comparison a real one. We measured what filing a container's paperwork by hand costs in what manual data entry on shipping documents costs, with the packing lists behind the figure published as a CSV. Put your own salary numbers into it and the price on this page is either obviously worth it or obviously not, which is a better outcome for both of us than a call. If you would rather understand the mechanics first, the container tracking guide explains where the data comes from before you spend anything on it.

What everyone else charges

Almost none of them say. Of the products compared across this site, the enterprise visibility platforms and the produce-industry platforms route you to a demo request rather than a figure, and the ones that are free are free because something else is being sold. Each comparison sets out what that company publishes, with the date we read it.

Questions buyers ask

What does Trackberry cost?
Free while we are in beta, with no card and no commitment. After that, €10 per container. ERP integration is a one-off from €2,000 plus maintenance from €50 a month, quoted against the system you already run. All prices exclude VAT.
What counts as a container?
One shipment of goods you are tracking, whether it moves as a full container, as part of one, or as an air freight consignment. You are charged once for it, not once per document, per event, per notification or per person who looks at it.
Do you charge per user?
No, and this is the difference that usually matters most. Seat pricing makes you ration who can see a shipment, and the people you end up leaving out are the ones who would have caught the problem: the quality manager, the person doing the invoicing, the colleague covering while you are away. Invite everyone.
What happens in a quiet month?
You pay less. Produce volumes are seasonal and a subscription is not, so a per-container price is the one that follows your season down as well as up. A month with nothing on the water costs nothing.
Is there a minimum, a contract, or a setup fee?
None of the three. The one thing quoted separately is integration with your own ERP, because that is genuine work against a system we have not seen: ERP integration is a one-off from €2,000 plus maintenance from €50 a month, quoted against the system you already run..
Why publish a price at all when nobody else does?
Because a quote-only page tells you something you would rather know before the call: it means the number depends on who is asking. Of the fourteen products compared on this site, almost none publish a figure. Being the one that answers the question is worth more to us than the room we lose by answering it.

Free while we are in beta

No card, no commitment, and no minimum when the beta ends. Bring a lane and a supplier packing list and twenty minutes will tell you whether it is worth €10 a container to you.
