Public tracking pages show a lot more (and still no prices)

The public tracking page and the internal shipment page now render the same tracking card. Everything that had only been built for the internal view — the route timeline, IATA tooltips, IMO numbers, layover badges, the live map and the freshness stamp — is on the public page too, and stays in step from here on. (Check now is the one exception; that’s for signed-in members.)

Four sharing toggles, each off by default, in Settings → Public Status Page:

Toggle What it adds
Share documents Download links for the types you tick — Bills of Lading and AWBs, packing lists, invoices, phytosanitary certificates, certificates of origin, warehouse receipts, quality inspection reports, and courier waybills
Share packing details The full packing table — varieties, calibres, box counts, weights
Share QC summary The quality grade and the inspector’s remarks
Share QC inspection documents The pallet-by-pallet table with scores, recommendations and defects

The summary and the detailed inspection table are deliberately separate switches — sharing the headline grade without the pallet-level breakdown is a perfectly reasonable place to stop.

Prices are never shared publicly, whatever else you turn on. Neither are inspection photos, quality checks, monitoring alerts, audit logs or internal notes. The public packing table is the internal one with pricing and editing removed. What is and isn’t exposed is covered in Security & Data Protection.

ETAs now read in the destination port’s own timezone. A 12:00 port-local ETA used to render as “10:00 (UTC+02:00)” — labelled with the port offset but converted to UTC. Shipment, vessel and container ETAs are all fixed, and the label now names what was actually rendered.

Setup is in Public Tracking Pages.

FAQ

Can a customer see what I paid?

No. Prices are never rendered on a public tracking page under any setting. The public packing table is the internal one with pricing and editing stripped out.

Do the sharing toggles apply to every shipment at once?

Yes — they are organization settings, so a toggle applies to every public page you share. All four are off until you turn them on.

Does someone need an account to open a public tracking page?

No. The link is the credential, which is why everything on the page is off by default and prices are excluded outright.
