Importer, consignee on cargo manifests from Peru

ROSERA SERVICES

What this consignee, as named on the cargo manifests, receives from Peru, product by product: covered tonnes, rank, main destination and suppliers. Each product is counted over the last 12 months, to its latest complete week.

  • Onions: Based on cargo manifests that name the consignee: 206,497.6 t of 299,192.8 t declared (69.0%) in the last 12 months, sea freight.
  • Onions: The change against the 12 months before is not shown: it needs manifests naming the consignee for at least 80% of the declared tonnage in both periods, and they cover 69.0% in the last 12 months.

Number 67 in onions over the last 12 months.

Ranks are among the importers the manifests name for each product, by covered tonnes over the last 12 months (the product's last 52 complete weeks), so they can differ from its importers tab, which ranks the current season. The rank for the 12 months before is shown only where the manifests cover at least 80% of the declared tonnage in both periods.

How we count

  • The importer is the consignee as the SUNAT export cargo manifests name it, with spellings of one company merged. Only the name and aggregates are shown: never a shipper, bill of lading, container, marks, goods or address.
  • Tonnes are the declared net weight of the customs declarations matched to the manifest lines naming this consignee, in the week of each declaration's shipment date. Shares are shares of the covered tonnage, not of all exports.
  • A declaration matched to several manifest lines is split between them in proportion to their manifest weight, so its tonnes are counted once. Cargo consigned to order and lines without a named consignee are not counted.
  • The last 12 months are the 52 complete weeks up to each product's latest complete week, whatever the season, so that an importer that ships a few months a year keeps its page.
  • The 12 months before are the 52 weeks preceding them, and are compared only where the manifests cover at least 80% of the declared tonnage in both periods; otherwise nothing is said.
  • Declarations keep arriving for about a month after shipment, so the latest 5 weeks are incomplete and never quoted as figures.
