Carriers publish milestones at port calls, so weeks can pass mid-voyage with nothing new โ that is normal, not a fault. The vessel position is not on this clock: it comes from a separate AIS feed, so the map can move while these dates stand still. The tracking service doesn't publish the age of a fix, so we date positions from when we first saw the vessel there.
