What we're building now

  1. Trackberry app coming to Google Play

We're working on releasing the Trackberry app on Google Play for Android phones. Once it's there, you'll be able to install it from the Play Store and check your shipments on the go.

  2. Trackberry is coming to iPhone and iPad

We're working on a Trackberry app for iPhone and iPad. You'll be able to try it in a beta test through Apple's TestFlight before it reaches the App Store.

Planned next

  1. Terminal data for more Dutch and Spanish ports

We're working on terminal data for Rotterdam, Vlissingen, Algeciras, Málaga, Valencia and Barcelona. Where terminals share it, you'll be able to see events such as discharge and customs status alongside your carrier data. Coverage will differ by terminal, so we'll say which ports are ready as each connection is confirmed.

  2. Warehouse opening hours and holidays in planning

We're working on warehouse records with their own opening hours, closures and holidays. You'll get arrival and collection dates that skip days when the port, the trucker or the warehouse is closed. You'll also get an alert when your last free day falls on a closure.

  3. Decide on warehouse receipt differences, pallet by pallet

We're working on a clearer split between checks that run before goods arrive and checks that run after. Checks that run after arrival, such as the warehouse receipt check, won't hold up your first ERP export. When the warehouse receipt differs from your packing list, you'll see the shipment flagged "received differs" and can decide for each pallet: accept the warehouse figures, or keep your own and have that decision recorded.

On our radar

  1. Forwarders will get view-only container tracking

We're working on view-only access for your freight forwarder. They'll see status, ETA, vessel and milestones for containers where they're the notify party on the bill of lading. They won't see your documents, extracted data or quality reports.

  2. Merging duplicate shipments

We're working on a way for you to merge duplicate shipments into one record. You'll have a cleaner shipment list, so it's easier to find and check the right consignment.

  3. Flagging possible overcharges on carrier invoices

We're working on checking your carrier invoices for overcharges. You'll see a flag when a surcharge doesn't match a container's route, its effective date or its size, or when the same charge appears twice. Each flag comes with the evidence, so you can dispute it with the carrier.

  4. Temperature readings are coming to Trackberry

We're working on showing the real temperature of your reefer containers in Trackberry. So far we show where a box is and the temperature it was set to, but not what it actually recorded. Once this is ready, you'll be able to see the recorded temperature next to each container's location.

    Includes 6 parts

  5. Carbon reports per shipment, ready for your buyers

We're working on a carbon report for each container, based on the real route it took. It will state the method and data quality, so your sustainability team can rely on it. You'll also be able to export emissions by date range and supplier, and we're adding empty container moves to the calculation.

  6. Track final prices for consignment shipments

We're working on a way for you to follow a consignment shipment from its provisional price to its final price. You'll be able to match the invoice, the sales liquidation and the debit or credit note for each shipment. You'll also see which shipments are still unsettled, so you know what to chase.

  7. Flag packing lists missing box brand details

We're working on a quality check that flags packing lists where the box brand isn't clearly stated. You'll be able to switch it on or off, and adjust it to suit your own labelling rules. We're also looking at letting you describe your own checks in plain English.

  8. Availability date based on vessel arrival

We're working on an availability date for each shipment, based on the vessel's estimated arrival plus a set number of working days. It will update automatically when the arrival estimate changes, and you'll get one daily summary instead of updating each container by hand. You'll also be able to choose which destination ports it applies to.

  9. Share a whole shipment in one file

You'll be able to send your buyer, forwarder or customs broker one file for each shipment. They can open it without an account and see the vessel, the ETA, the route and the packing list.

We're working on keeping the file live, so the ETA and new documents update as the shipment moves. Invoices and prices will stay out of it.
