An AgrigateOne alternative for produce importers
AgrigateOne is in this industry properly, which most software is not. It is also on the other side of it — built outward from the packhouse, where we are built inward from the arrival.

Same trade, opposite ends
Their own framing is "One platform to connect the global perishable supply chain", and the products name the shape of it: OnePack for packhouse automation, OneQuality for quality control, OneFlow for export and import operations, OneSight for market analytics, OneSwitch as a trade partnership hub. Suppliers, buyers and service providers, with a strong South African centre of gravity.
Most of that happens before the container is sealed. An importer's week starts after: a packing list arriving by email from a grower who does not use your software, a bill of lading from a forwarder who uses different software again, and forty boxes on the water from eleven suppliers with nothing in common but you. Nobody selling to the packhouse solves that, because it is not the packhouse's problem.
Which side of the container you sit on
| The job | AgrigateOne | Trackberry |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is built for | Suppliers, buyers and service providers — with growers, packhouses and exporters at the centre. | The importer receiving the fruit. |
| Where the work starts | In the packhouse, before loading. | In the inbox, after the supplier has sent the paperwork. |
| Quality | OneQuality — grading and QC at source. | Arrival inspections, scored per pallet, kept with the container for a claim. |
| Suppliers who use other software | Strongest when the counterparty is on the platform too. | Assumed. Files arrive in whatever shape the grower sends them. |
| Geography | A strong South African base, on the evidence of its own site. | European import lanes from wherever the fruit comes. |
| Market analytics | OneSight. | None. We publish export seasons; we do not price markets. |
When AgrigateOne is the right platform
Whenever the problem is upstream of the container, which for many companies it is.
- You run or work with a packhouse and need grading, QC and pack automation at source.
- You are an exporter, and your problem is getting fruit out rather than receiving it.
- You want market analytics on the trade. We do not do that at all.
- Your supply base is concentrated in South Africa, where they are strongest.
- You want one platform across suppliers, buyers and service providers rather than depth on one side.
What it costs
They do not publish a number. We do, and it is on this page.
AgrigateOne
Not published
No pricing on the site. The platform is five products — packhouse, quality, operations, analytics, partnerships — so a quote depends heavily on which of them you take.

Free in beta, then €10 / container
No card and no commitment while we are in beta. €10 per container once the beta ends — you pay for containers that ship, not for seats or a monthly subscription. ERP integration is a one-off from €2,000 plus maintenance from €50 a month, quoted against the system you already run. All prices exclude VAT.
Questions buyers ask
- Is AgrigateOne a competitor?
- Only if you are a grower or an exporter. Their headline is "The fresh produce trade simplified" and the platform runs the supply side of it: packhouse automation, quality control, export operations, market analytics. We start where that ends — with the importer who receives the fruit.
- We are an exporter as well as an importer. Then what?
- Look at them seriously. If your problem includes running a packhouse or grading fruit before it is loaded, that is theirs and not ours, and no amount of import visibility substitutes for it.
- Our supplier already uses AgrigateOne. Does that help us?
- It usually means the paperwork you receive is cleaner than average, which is good news either way. It does not give you a view of the containers you are moving with your other suppliers, which is the half this side of the trade has to solve for itself.
- Where is AgrigateOne strongest?
- South Africa, on the evidence of its own site — the growers, exporters and industry associations it features are largely South African. That is a serious position in one of the biggest export origins there is.

If you are the one receiving it
Bring the paperwork from a supplier who does not share your software. That is the case this side of the trade has to handle, and it is the one worth testing.
