Fresh produce arriving in Asia, by week

Fresh produce expected to arrive in each market, week by week. From Peru: the vessels that sailed, on SUNAT's export cargo manifests. From Colombia: the sea shipments declared to DIAN, plus a typical transit from their exit port. Arrival weeks are approximate.

No arrival data is available yet.

How we count

  • Arrival weeks are approximate: the sailing date (Peru) or the shipment date (Colombia) plus a typical direct transit time to the destination port, else to the destination country's main port. For Colombia the transit depends on the exit customs office (Caribbean or Pacific coast). Shipments without a known transit time are left out.
  • Peru's rows are vessels: the export cargo manifests that SUNAT publishes as vessels sail, with tonnes confirmed by the matched customs declarations (net weight) or estimated from the manifest (gross weight). Colombia publishes no manifests: its rows are the sea shipments declared to DIAN, by shipment date, exit office and destination (net weight).
  • Colombian declarations keep arriving for weeks after shipment. Provisional filings already hold expected values, and a recent shipment week is scaled up to its estimate (the share of a week's tonnage usually declared by then); a week too incomplete for an estimate is left out, and the weeks it would arrive in are marked incomplete.
  • Tonnes are rounded to a tenth. A week with nothing known shows no figure rather than zero.
